This man has the right to do what he’s doing. But are you really going to pay him to do it? If not, I suggest you–like me–are also intolerant of hate.

  •  The owner of Chick-Fil-A has a right to free speech.
  •  Chick-Fil-A has a right to send money to hate groups.
  •  I am not intolerant of their religion.
  •  I am intolerant of their hate and the direct impact it has on my life and the lives of those I care about.
  •  I have the right to free speech.

Though this message will primarily be seen by many friends, and to whom I apologize for using such an evil image, it is aimed at the people who have posted on my comments and those of friends that we are the real haters and need to, basically, SHUT UP [sic] because Chick-Fil-A has a right to free speech.

I suggest that until these signs are in your face, and these fellow Americans are using their free speech to picket the funeral of someone you love, and urge your neighbors to persecute you by firing you, taxing you or taking away your health insurance, you don’t really have standing to accuse me of intolerance. If any of these things happened to you or your friend or your child, what would you call it?

I call it hate.
